A well-known fixture in the local fitness scene, Alim’s discipline and drive led him to be recognised as one of only 10 elite calisthenics coaches in the world. As a NASM-certified fitness coach, he never lets up in training, driving his clients to push the boundaries of what they think they can achieve.

NAJIB RAFIE

Najib is a born fighter. As the head striking coach for a MMA gym, and now interim coach for the Brunei national boxing team, Najib has trained multiple athletes to silver and gold medals in regional bouts. His competitive spirit rubs off on everyone he meets.

An up-and-coming boxer and boxing coach, Kevin’s passion for the sport has led him to Jab. He’s designed custom fitness programmes for individual and group settings, and is ready to bring his energy and enthusiasm to your class.

NADZRI HARIF

This multi-hyphenate needs no introduction. When he’s not riding the airwaves as one of Brunei’s most popular deejays, he’s grinding it out in the gym seven days a week. A crossfit devotee, Nadzri has been running classes for over seven years, pioneering the sport in the country and representing his gym in overseas competitions.

Faiz picked up his gloves two years ago and hasn’t been able to let go since. This young boxer is not afraid to get in the ring and put in the hours. He’s trained at gyms in the UK, as well as at a local MMA gym under the tutelage of a champion fighter.

FLORE BERTRAND

Flore believes yoga teaches both physical and mental strength. “Yoga is more than just achieving difficult poses, we also learn how to connect with and understand our bodies better,” she says. Her patience and grace instantly puts students at ease, and helps centre them each time they step on the mat. “It’s not a race, it’s not a competition, with yoga there are always ways to continue to learn.”

JONATHAN OOI

Being fit and healthy is second nature to Jonathan, having represented nationals in both tennis and basketball. Known for his unforgiving attitude to winning, Jonathan has never settled with comfort. He believes in pushing and testing one’s limits because everyone is capable of way more than we think.

Sing Haw’s taste for the martial arts started with Tang Soo Do in his youth. When he laced up his boxing gloves a few years ago and took part in a local amateur tournament, he was hooked! He promises an intense workout with a playlist to boot.

Jonathan seeks to inspire yoga practitioners to be the best version of themselves with his fun, transformative and knowledge packed Yoga classes. A fitness and human science enthusiast, he teaches Yoga out of passion and every session is carved out for purposes of stimulating self-acceptance, self-healing and strengthening of the mind.
